Teeth Cleaning, Gentle Dental Exams and Oral Hygiene Treatments
Our dentists and staff strive to make you calm, comfortable and relaxed during your appointment. We take the time to listen to your questions and provide detailed explanations of your teeth cleaning and dental exams or procedures. We invest in the latest technology to help us deliver convenient, safe dental solutions, with services ranging from routine teeth cleanings and hygiene to dental sealants, oral cancer screenings and much more.
Complete Teeth Cleaning and Dental Care
We recommend seeing your dentist for a routine cleaning and exam every six months. Our team at Dublin Dental Care is focused on making your appointment a comfortable and collaborative experience. We keep our patients informed with regard to their dental health so they can make decisions about their dental care with confidence. We believe routine examinations should be thorough and interactive, and our team takes every opportunity to thoughtfully explain procedures and discuss any areas of concern we might find.
Routine Dental Exams Include:
A Complete Oral Examination
Digital low dose X-rays to screen for cavities and other oral problems
The use of advanced, powerful Artificial Intelligence (AI) to aid in scanning and analyzing your X-rays for cavities, jaw bone problems, periodontal health, and more
Intraoral Video, Allowing You to See What the Dentist Sees
Photo Presentation of Your Teeth Through Use of a Miniature Camera
Examination of your gum tissue to discover signs of periodontal disease
Blood Pressure Measurement
Screening for oral cancer
Dental Cleaning and Flossing
Teeth Scaling
Dental Sealants for Cavity Prevention
A dental sealant is a thin, plastic coating that is simply painted on parts of the chewing surfaces of teeth (usually the back teeth) to prevent cavities. The sealant bonds into the depressions and grooves in molars and pre-molars, forming a protective shield over the enamel of the tooth. Although thorough brushing and flossing can remove most food particles and plaque from smooth surfaces of teeth, they cannot always get into all the nooks and crannies of the back teeth to remove the food and plaque. Sealants protect these vulnerable areas from cavities by “sealing out” plaque and food.
Protect Teeth From the Development of Cavities
Require a Minimally Invasive Procedure to Place
Less Expensive than Having a Tooth Fixed
Made of a Clear or Slightly Colored Material that Matches Tooth Color
Dental sealants are generally recommended for our younger patients. However, we may recommend sealants for adult patients who tend to repeatedly develop cavities.
Healthy Teeth are Our Mission

Minimize Intake of Unhealthy Foods that Damage Teeth
Fluoride Treatments Help Strengthen Tooth Enamel
Dublin Dental Care offers a wide variety of fluoride treatment methods to strengthen the enamel of our patients’ teeth. Fluoride is a natural mineral which bonds effectively with the enamel on our teeth. While fluoride is found in a lot of natural settings—such as drinking water—a professional application is considered to contribute significantly to strong oral health. We apply fluoride treatment to our patients during each standard appointment, and may recommend a strong application for patients who:
Exhibit Poor Oral Hygiene Habits
Commonly Experience Dry Mouth
Develop Small Cracks in Tooth Enamel
Have Gone Without a Regular Exam for a Prolonged Period of Time
Have Other Health Conditions that Affect Teeth
Are at Risk for Decay
Periodontal Treatment to Restore Gum Health
Dublin Dental Care offers periodontal treatment to restore the health of your gums. Gum Disease can have potentially devastating impacts on your teeth and overall health. Left unchecked, it can cause persistent bad breath, degenerated jaw tissue, and lost or shifting teeth. It can even elevate your risk of heart disease or stroke. Patients may have an increased risk of periodontal disease if they:
Have Contracted Certain Diseases or Illnesses
Are Elderly
Clench or Grind Teeth Constantly
Practice Poor Oral Hygiene Habits
Smoke Regularly
Have Diabetes
Take Some Forms of Medication
Have Not Had Professional Dental Care in an Extended Period of Time
Gum Disease Treatment to Help Restore Your Health
Oral Cancer Screening
Dublin Dental Care screens for signs of oral cancer during every routine examination. Patients who smoke regularly, frequently drink alcohol, or have a history of oral cancers are at an increased risk. During every examination, our dental team will examine all areas of your mouth, face, and neck to uncover any signs of oral cancer. Common symptoms include:
Difficulty Chewing or Swallowing
Swelling of the Lips, Gums, and Other Areas of the Mouth
Rough Spots Found on Inside of Mouth
Numbness in the Mouth, Face, or Neck
Chronic Sore Throat
If you are concerned that you may have oral cancer, please contact our office immediately.
